Watch out for

Pick the wrong mode and the extra cost and time usually come from these three things

We use cargo value and timing to find the lowest total cost

Cost trap · chargeable weight

Volumetric vs actual weight

The hard part: ocean freight charges on the greater of volumetric or actual weight, air goes by chargeable weight — without converting first, it's easy to misjudge which is cheaper

How we handle it: we work out both chargeable weights first, then use cargo value and timing to find the route with the lowest total cost

Timing · lanes

Routing urgent cargo

The hard part: express air can be a few days, sea is slower — but it really depends on the lane and space, and getting the timeline wrong blows the delivery date

How we handle it: we recommend a sea-and-air mix to fit your deadline and budget, find the fastest route for urgent cargo and secure space early

Cost trap · space

Booking in peak season

The hard part: space is tight and rates climb in peak season — book late and you get bumped down the list, pushing your delivery date back

How we handle it: we flag the key booking dates early and use lanes and space we know well to keep your delivery date steady

Freight rates and transit times are subject to the carrier's actual published schedules, flights and space availability.

FAQ

Choosing between sea and air

If it's not urgent and the volume is large, ocean freight is cheapest; for urgent, high-value or small-volume cargo, go by air. We use cargo value and timing to work out which has the lower total cost.

Ocean freight charges on the greater of volumetric tons or actual weight; air goes by chargeable weight (the greater of volumetric or actual weight). Light, bulky cargo is often charged by volume. For a freight quote, message us on LINE and we'll confirm it against your actual cargo.

Air freight usually arrives in 2–4 business days (clearance not included); international courier is faster door-to-door. Actual times depend on the flight and destination.

In peak season (before holidays, during shopping seasons) space and rates swing a lot. We work with multiple shipping lines and airlines, book early and reserve space when needed, keeping the risk of delay to a minimum.

A commercial invoice, packing list and export declaration documents; air freight also has rules such as dangerous-goods declarations. We pre-check the paperwork before shipping and fill any gaps.

We'd recommend cargo insurance — it cuts your loss from impact, moisture or loss in transit. We help you assess the coverage and the most reliable route.

It varies a lot by item: lithium batteries, liquids, aerosols and dangerous goods mostly can't go by standard air, and need to move by sea or in special holds with a declaration; food, cosmetics and supplements have import-inspection rules. Send us the product name first and we'll confirm whether it can ship, the most reliable route and the documents needed — so it isn't stopped by customs at the airport or port.
