Accessibility Statement

We want everyone — including visitors who use assistive technology — to be able to get import-clearance and market-entry information without barriers. This statement explains what we've done, what we still need to improve, and how to reach us if you run into a problem

At Jumping Freight, we believe that stating things clearly and making them readable for everyone is part of what “hands-on, front-line” means. We work toward the international WCAG 2.1 AA standard, with reference to the Ministry of Digital Affairs' “Web Accessibility Guidelines,” and we keep improving this site's accessibility. This is an ongoing commitment, not a one-and-done project.

01 Our commitment

We're committed to letting every visitor reach this site's content and services, whatever device or assistive technology they use. When we redesign the site or add pages, we factor accessibility in, and we keep adjusting based on user feedback.

02 The standard we follow

This site works toward W3C's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA level as its target, with reference to the accessibility guidelines published by Taiwan's Ministry of Digital Affairs.

In all honesty: this site has not yet applied for official accessibility-mark testing, so this statement doesn't mean it has passed any level of formal certification. We hold ourselves to that standard and keep improving; if we complete formal testing and earn a mark down the line, we'll update this page.

03 What we've done

This site already implements the following accessibility features:

“Skip to main content” link: a skip link at the top of every page lets keyboard users bypass the menu and go straight to the content.
Semantic structure: we use correct heading levels (H1–H3), landmarks (header / nav / main / footer) and lists, so screen readers can make sense of the layout.
Keyboard operable: the menu, search, expandable FAQ and other interactions all work by keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
Image alt text: informative images have alt text; purely decorative images are marked as decorative.
Color contrast: black / dark-gray text on light backgrounds, with secondary text in #666666, to keep contrast adequate; brand red is used only for emphasis, and we never rely on color alone to convey key information.
Responsive layout: readable on phone, tablet and desktop, and text scales with your browser settings without breaking the layout.
Form labels: every input field has a matching label and a note on its purpose.
Respecting motion preferences: if you've turned on “reduce motion” in your system, this site's animations and auto-rotating carousels stop automatically.

04 Assistive-technology compatibility

This site is designed to work with the latest versions of mainstream browsers, along with common screen readers (such as VoiceOver and NVDA) and keyboard navigation. Given the sheer number of device and assistive-technology versions, individual combinations may still behave differently — if you hit a problem, please tell us through the channels below.

05 Known limitations

To be straight with you, here are the parts we know about and are still improving:

The accessibility of some third-party embeds or external tools (for example, external services that link out to our sister brands LUFÃ and TradePilot) is the responsibility of each of those services, and may not fully meet this site's standard.
Some interactive charts and calculators (such as the carbon estimator) are primarily visual; we'll keep strengthening their text alternatives.
The alt text on a few older images or documents is still being filled in.
